Sedona Arizona Herritage Museum wedding| Joyce and Friday

How they Met:

We first met in Phoenix on April 7, 2016. Friday flew to Phoenix on April 7, 2016 which is the first time we met in person. We have been in touch for a few months before that through FaceTime and chat. I met him at the airport for the first time and it felt so natural and he made me feel at ease because he has a very calm demeanor. We went on a road trip to Vegas the next day and had our first dinner date at Noodles (Bellagio Hotel) right after the Ellie Goulding concert. We had a wonderful time at the concert and a very nice dinner. Las Vegas is always a good time!

How Friday Proposed:

We were on a city bus tour in San Francisco and one of the stops was at the Fort Point National Historic Site. This is right under the Golden Gate bridge and it provided a great view of the bridge, the mountains and the water. The spiral staircase takes you to the rooftop that provides breathtaking views. As Joyce took photos of the scenery, Friday took the opportunity and surprised Joyce with the proposal.

A little about the wedding day:

We chose Sedona Heritage Museum to illuminate Sedona's outdoor beauty. We wanted to have that authentic and classic feel for the wedding . We had plenty of guests that visited Sedona for the first time and we wanted them to enjoy the view during the ceremony. For the reception, we chose Cucina Rustica not only because they have great food options but also because of the rustic theme and the intimate setting.

It may sound cliche but it is really hard to pick a favorite moment from our wedding day. We enjoyed every part of that special day from the preparations all the way to the reception. The whole process was an unforgettable experience in an extraordinarily beautiful city and everyone involved made us feel very special. We could not be any happier.
